||||
Advantage Healthcare, Croydon branch has been given an exciting opportunity by a London Primary Care Trust to provide two children under 5 years of age with complex care packages. Advantage Healthcare’s highly skilled carers have been trained by the staff at Kings College Hospital’s Paediatric High Dependency Unit, the Thomas Cook Centre. Healthcare assistants have been trained and deemed competent and are now providing care within the community to these two children who are both ventilated tracheostomy patients. This is a fantastic way for staff to develop their skills without compromising the care of the service user.
