Advantage Healthcare increases staffing resource to support NHS waiting lists |
||||
Advantage Healthcare Group is increasing it’s recruitment drive in order to support the NHS’ growing need to reduce patient waiting lists. Increased levels of recruitment for Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers will commence immediately across all of Advantage Healthcare’s 26 branches throughout the UK. Our increased recruitment efforts come following reports that there are almost 250,000 non-urgent patients currently on NHS waiting lists who have now exceeded the 18 week target wait time. Demand is now being placed on NHS managers to decrease this number by approximately 50,000 by April 2012, resulting in an increased requirement for additional healthcare staffing support. Advantage Healthcare Group has a long and successful history of providing qualified healthcare professionals to the NHS. We have expertise in delivering our services into acute, mental health and community healthcare establishments, as well as extensive experience in supplying staffing solutions to Primary Care Trusts. The increased level of recruitment and staffing resource will place Advantage Healthcare Group in a strong position to support NHS Trusts in meeting demand within this sector, fulfilling patient needs and driving down waiting list numbers.
