We are delighted to welcome you to our branch situated in the heart of the City Centre, we already have a loyal client base and existing relations with PCT’s, hospitals and care homes. The business has a had great growth over the last twelve months and the team here are looking to continue this and diversify in 2011.

At the present time we service NHS hospitals across the West Midlands, BUPA, Southern Cross and Independent Care Homes. We work with clients in their own home who suffer from complex conditions and we also have a variety of private clients. We are currently supply to projects such as Contraceptive Health, chalymdia screening and immunisations in schools.

We work hard to ensure that our clients receive only the highest standards of healthcare professionals to a range of care settings such as:

• Nursing and Residential homes
• Domiciliary care
• Flu vaccinations
• Home care

Awards

The Birmingham branch has recently had a CQC inspection and are proud to announce that they have been awarded "3 Star excellent service" for nursing by the CQC!

Training

We provide candidates with all the up to date training that is required for both our qualified, part qualified and unqualified staff. Areas of training follow:

• Manual Handling
• CPR
• Moving and Handling
• Anaphylaxis Training
• Food and Hygiene
• Infection control
• Fire Safety
• Health & Safety / COSHH & RIDDOR
• Abuse Awareness, POVA & POCA
• Managing Violence and Aggression
• First Aid
• Medication Awareness

Ongoing Mandatory Training is available free of charge to all workers and specialist training is also available. We also offer full support in completing the Skills for Care requirements. We provide and support candidates in achieving the NVQ2 in care, and are constantly looking for new courses.

We use the services of a specialised training provider, and can tailor make the course to meet our workers specific needs.

Office Hours

General office hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am until 5:00pm
Advantage Healthcare operates a 24 hour service. Times can be arranged outside of these hours on request and an out of hours service is also available, meaning there is always someone on the end of the phone!
