What we can offer you

We currently have a wide variety nursing jobs available for registered general and specialist nurses across a broad spectrum of areas including nursing care for the elderly, NHS placements, private nursing homes and hospitals and private care at home. We also have a number of placements available for paediatric nurses.

Student Nurses

If you are a student nurse, we can offer you work as a healthcare assistant whilst you train. After you have qualified we can offer you shifts in areas you have previously worked or where you are under supervision, in line with your own professional accountability.

Whatever your situation or preferences, we aim to provide you with the work you want, when you want it.

What you need to work for us

To work as a nurse for Advantage Healthcare, you will need to:

• Be eligible to work in the UK.
• Have a current UK NMC (Nursing Midwifery Council) PIN number.
• Have a UK/EU passport or appropriate visa.
• Have an Enhanced CRB, POCA and SOVA check.
• Ensure you have the skills and experience that the role requires.

How soon can we get you out to work?

In line with CQC (Care Quality Commission) guidelines, every nursing or domiciliary care agency must complete a personal file checklist for each of their candidates to ensure that you are compliant to work with elderly and vulnerable people. As soon as you have been interviewed and your file is completed, we will get you out to work.

Overseas Workers

We are unable to offer candidates work permits, therefore you must either have an EU or UK passport or hold one of the visas listed here. If you are eligible to work and coming to the UK for the first time, check out our tips for working and living in the UK.
