We may not appear on Phil and Kirsty’s Best Place in the country to live anymore (last year 4th best place and year before 3rd), but we are still the best place to work! Due to having glorious gardens, graceful architecture, a glamorous heritage as a European spa town and an Advantage office!!! We cover a large geographical area including York, Scarborough and Hull too. We often hold interview days in local hotels and job centre’s so there isn’t always a need to travel to Harrogate.

Domiciliary Carers Urgently Required!
Advantage Healthcare is currently recruiting care assistants and support workers who can provide care to our clients within their own homes.
We have a variety of homecare packages available, from short drop-ins through to full time placements. Each package is unique, however duties may include;

RMNs and RNs
Advantage Healthcare is currently recruiting RMNs and RNs with Mental Health experience to work within a unit in a hospital in York. The unit specialises in neurobehavioural rehabilitation, so previous experience within a similar setting is essential. Set in extensive and beautiful grounds it is also close to amenities and is within easy access of transport links.
Duties will be dependant on the individual and to be successful you must have an NMC pin number and provide clinical references that cover recent skills and experience.
Registered Nurses
Advantage Healthcare require Registered Nurses for a Residential Care Home for the Elderly based in York. The home is set in its own grounds within beautiful surroundings and is near public transport. Our client prides themselves on the care provided to their residents ensuring that their individual needs are met and that their independence and dignity is a priority at all times.
The role involves providing care for the elderly including medication supervision, assisting them in their day to day activities, personal care, washing, cleaning, assisting at meal times and generally working to each individuals care plan ensuring the residents live full and varied lives. Previous experience of working with the elderly and dementia would be an advantage and clinical references covering recent skills and experience will be required.
RNLDs
Advantage Healthcare is recruiting experienced and skilled RNLDs and RNs for clients in a Residential Care Home in Wetherby. Our client specialises in 18 – 65 year olds with Learning Disabilities and they pride themselves on tailoring their care and service to the individual needs of each service user. The home is based within a short walk of Wetherby town centre so is easily accessible for all.
Our clients have varying levels of learning disabilities and you will be required to have the necessary skills to support these adults. Some clients may have challenging behaviour, autism and epilepsy. You will be required to have excellent communication skills as stimulation is an important part of care.
To be successful you must have a valid NMC pin number and be able to provide clinical references that cover recent skills and experience. Hours available vary and include day and night shifts.

Our client specialises in 18 – 65 year olds with Learning Disabilities and they pride themselves on tailoring their care and service to the individual needs of each service user. The home is based within a short walk of Wetherby town centre so is easily accessible for all.
Our clients have varied learning disabilities and you will be required to have the necessary skills to support adults with meals, personal care, to assist clients to maintain as active a life as possible and assist with general activities. Some clients may have challenging behaviour, autism and epilepsy. You will be required to have excellent communication skills as stimulation is an important part of care.
NVQ 2 is desirable but not essential as training can be given to the successful candidate. You will be required to provide clinical references that cover recent skills and experience. Hours available vary and include day and night shifts.

Advantage Healthcare opperates a 24 hour service. General office hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am until 5:00pm. Times can be arranged outside of these hours on request and an out of hours service is also available, meaning there is always someone on the end of the phone!
