Welcome to the Ipswich branch!

Welcome to the Ipswich branch online! This is our very own branch page where you can find out all about the team at Ipswich, the areas we specialise in and the jobs we currently have available. The Ipswich branch specialises in providing staff with a nursing and learning disability background, placing RGN's, SEN's and RNM's to a wide variety of clients in the area. We are delighted to now be able to offer care for clients in their own homes and are pleased to report that this area of business is growing at a rapid rate with contracts for local work with social services and private clients!

Branch Manager: Gemma Mayo
I have been working in care since 2004. I first started by working in a home for adults with learning disabilities where I was made up to senior support workers. After two years I left there to join an agency to get more experience in other areas of care. I joined Advantage Healthcare as an agency worker in 2007 and gained experience of elderly homes, mental health, brain injuries, children, challenging behaviour and domiciliary visits. I moved into the office as a branch consultant in May 2008 and was moved up to Acting Branch Manager in April 2010 – looking after things whilst Tasha is on maternity leave. I am really enjoying the position and strive to continue the high standards of the Ipswich Branch.

Branch Consultant: Sarah Dempsey
I have worked in customer services for over 14 years in various roles from retail to aviation, progressing to customer services trainer.  I moved into the Care industry in 2008 working in a domiciliary setting caring for a range of people.  I then moved to Advantage Healthcare Group in June 2010 as a Branch Consultant in Ipswich, where I am currently working on developing our domiciliary team.

Branch Consultant: Saira Mughal-Malcolm
I have previously worked in Customer Services, and Insurance. In 2009 I moved to the care sector as a HCA which involved working with Young People, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Elderly, I then moved up to a Care Coordinator for a Domiciliary only care company. In March 2010 I joined Advantage Healthcare Group as a Branch Consultant in Ipswich; I am currently working on increasing establishment clients.
