Welcome to the Norwich Branch Webpage. We are based in Hethersett which is on the outskirts of Norwich and we provide a service to our workers and clients throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk. We work with a range of clients which include; homeless people with or without substance misuse, challenging behaviour, both adults and children with learning disabilities and the elderly both in residential and domiciliary care settings.

Advantage Healthcare needs Registered Nurses to provide care and support to elderly residents within a Nursing Home in Norwich specialising in Dementia and Physical Disabilities. To be successful you must have good communication skills, have a valid NMC pin number and be able to provide clinical references covering recent skills and experience. Skills required for this role are experience of nursing residents with Tracheotomy, Peg feeds and the ability to nurse residents who are both frail and may have a physical disability.

Duties of the role include;

• A variety of nursing tasks to include the dispensing of medication.
• Record keeping
• Wound care
• Bowel care

This position offers full and part time working hours with day and night shifts available including 0800 – 2000 and night duties between 2000 – 0800 enabling you to work when you want to fit in with your other commitments.

Advantage Healthcare is currently recruiting Support Workers to work in a Hostel in Norwich with provides support to adults with mental health issues and drug and alcohol dependency issues. To be successful you must have an understanding of mental health issues. We have full and part time positions available including afternoon and evening shifts and also sleep-ins.

Duties of the role will include;

• Ensuring that the hostel and all of its tenants are safe, well and secure.
• Dealing with any issues relating to individual tenancy agreements.
• Supporting the tenants to perform their daily duties independently.
• Supporting tenants to attend appointments at clinics and rehabilitation centres.
• Ensure that all paperwork relating to individual care packages are up to date.

Advantage Healthcare is currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants to provide care and support to elderly residents within a Residential Nursing home in Norwich. The home covers Dementia, Nursing Care, Convalescence, Palliative and Respite Care so previous experience in this setting is advantageous but experience of Dementia is essential. To be successful you must have good communication skills and have experience in the provision of physical, emotional and social needs of the residents within a residential environment.

As part of this role the successful applicant will be required to;

• Provide personal care to residents as specified in their individual care plans
• Assistance with eating and drinking as required
• Ensure residents are cared for as specified in their individual care plans
• Carry out other duties as specified by the senior member of staff
• Assist with mobility and ensure equipment provided is used in line with health & safety regulations

This position offers full and part time working hours with day and night shifts available including 7am – 7pm and 7pm – 7am.
