Trained Nurses for NHS Southampton

As part of this varied role applicants will be required to provide assistance with all aspects of personal care whilst taking charge
of the ward.
Applicants will also be expected to undertake care planning activities and administer medication which will be sometimes be controlled.
To be successful applicants will be need to able to provide clinical references which cover both skills and experience and have previous experience of working within the NHS, preferably with patients who have suffered from strokes. (Observation and manual handling skills will also be required but training can be arranged in branch).

Disctrict Nurses
This role involved working within the community. Nurses will be required give injections on a regular basis which may include the taking of blood. Other duties will include taking observations (blood pressures, pulse and temperature). Maintaining peg feeds and dressings will be required.
To be successful nurses will need to have previous experienced of working within community settings, good communication skills as well as being calm and organised. Car drivers will be preferred as nurses will be required to travel between clients. Basic working hours of 9-5 will be available however there is a flexible approach to working hours.
Live-In Carers
Advantage Healthcare is currently seeking experienced and dedicated domiciliary carers to provide live-in support to our elderly clients in the Fareham area.
As part of this role you will be required to assist with all aspects of personal care such as; washing, feeding and dressing.
Previous experience of working with patients in their own homes, conducting observations and having manual handling skills will be preferred. You’ll also need to have good communication skills and be both calm and organised. Due to the location of the work a full, clean driving licence and access to a car will be advantageous.
Both full and part time positions with day, night, and weekend shifts will be available.
